Stepping Into The Past

A stairway leading to the top of the Temple Mount, Jerusalem, Israel, and the mosque called the Dome of the Rock. The mosque was constructed in the late seventh century over the ruins of the Second Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in the late first century.
