Catching The Ball (On The Racquet)
While there are a number of challenges when it comes to photographing tennis, two of challenges I've always enjoyed have been catching the players' expressions and timing the shots so as to catch the ball at the point of impact with the racquet. Here are a few "catching the ball" shots from a tournament last weekend.

FIU's Desanka Jovanovic during her match with Iowa's Krissy Dowlin on Saturday at the Miami Classic Tennis Tournament in Coral Gables, Florida. Jovanovic went on to defeat Dowlin in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

FIU's Marijana Cutuk during her match with Miami's Ana Rupic on Sunday at the Miami Classic Tennis Tournament in Coral Gables, Florida. Cutuk cruised to an easy victory over Rupic, 6-2, 6-1.
